All Aluminum Alloy Conductor (AAAC) is a high-strength, bare overhead conductor manufactured from concentric-lay-stranded aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy wires (typically 6201 series alloy). Offering an excellent balance of mechanical strength, electrical conductivity, and corrosion resistance, AAAC has become the preferred choice for modern overhead transmission and distribution lines where traditional ACSR or AAC conductors may fall short in performance or longevity.

Main Applications
All Aluminum Alloy Conductors are widely deployed in:
- High-voltage and medium-voltage overhead transmission lines
- Urban and rural distribution networks
- Coastal, industrial, and heavily polluted environments where corrosion resistance is critical
- Long-span crossings and areas with high mechanical loading requirements
Key Advantages
- Superior Corrosion Resistance: Unlike steel-reinforced conductors, AAAC contains no steel core, making it highly resistant to atmospheric corrosion and ideal for aggressive environments.
- High Strength-to-Weight Ratio: Allows longer spans, reduced tower loading, and lower overall installation costs.
- Optimized Sag Performance: Lower thermal expansion and creep characteristics result in reduced sag under high operating temperatures and heavy ice/wind loads.
- Lower Power Losses: Excellent conductivity combined with optimized stranding minimizes I²R losses compared to equivalent ACSR conductors.
- Long Service Life: Excellent fatigue resistance and mechanical stability ensure decades of reliable performance with minimal maintenance.
Construction
AAAC conductors consist of bare, concentrically stranded aluminum alloy wires. Stranding is arranged in successive layers with opposite lay directions between layers for maximum stability and flexibility. The alloy composition provides higher tensile strength than pure aluminum while maintaining good electrical properties.
